Wendell Falls Getting Ready to Open!
Would you like to live a neighborhood that is convenient to everything Raleigh has to offer? Wendell Falls, slated to be one of the largest community in Wake County, is getting ready to offer you just that!
Wendell Falls is scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2015 and will be the only subdivision in North Carolina to have its own named exit from a major highway. The community will be located within minutes to I-540 and I-440. It will be closer to downtown Raleigh than Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Apex, Durham, Rolesville and Wake Forest.
Wendell Falls is moving forward with construction and developer Newland Communities is working on the community’s swimming pool and clubhouse. The developer’s goal is that it will be ready when the first buyers find their new homes in this 1,115-acre master-planned development in eastern Wake County.
The 8,000-sq.-ft. clubhouse building will feature a café and serve as an information center for potential buyers. By the time they move in, residents will also have access to a play area for children, a fishing pier on an existing 1.5-acre pond and a trail system that will eventually connect Wendell Falls into the Wake County greenway trails system.
When complete, the subdivision is expected to include more than 3000 single-family and multi-family homes, along with open spaces, public parks, and other community amenities. The community’s first homes will be priced from the $170,000s to $400,000s according to their website. The floor plans will range from 1,400 square feet to more than 3,200 square feet. Construction is expected to span for more than 10 years.
